One relationship, entry to exit
Sponsors do not need six vendors producing six versions of the same numbers. The McLean Group covers the full hold period from a single relationship: buy-side diligence and purchase accounting at entry, quarterly marks and equity compensation valuations through the hold, and a sell-side process at exit.
Our valuation and investment banking teams sit inside the same firm. The analysis that supported your letter of intent is the analysis that carries into purchase accounting, and the team that has been valuing a portfolio company already knows it when the exit process opens.
Through DLS Marine, our appraisal affiliate, we also cover asset-heavy holdings — vessels, barges, cranes, terminal equipment and rolling stock — with ASA-accredited appraisers and NAMS-certified surveyors. An asset-level opinion does not require a second firm learning the fleet from scratch.
Across the hold period
