Epec Engineered Technologies
acquired Suncoast Digital
Technologies, a supplier of OEM
user interface keyboard
assemblies. The transaction is
expected to increase Epec’s
customer support services, which
is in line with the firm’s long term
growth strategy aimed at supplying
a greater range of electronic
product services to its customers.
TransDigm entered into an
agreement to acquire the assets
of GE Aviation's Electromechanical
Actuation Division (EAD) for
approximately $150.0 million in
cash. GE EAD specializes in
manufacturing proprietary, highly
engineered aerospace
electromechanical motion control
subsystems. The acquisition is
expected to close at the end of Q3
2013.
Greenpoint Technologies,
NewSpring Capital, and Wells
Fargo acquired Aviation Technical
Services, an aircraft maintenance,
repair, and overhaul services
provider. Greenpoint, which
provides interior design for Boeing
Business Jets, will use the
