KKR & Co. agreed to acquire the
German defense electronics
business of Airbus Group for $1.2
billion. The defense electronics
business being sold to KKR
consists of a non-core assets such
as: defense sensors, electronic
warfare and radar units, an
optronics arm that makes
periscopes for submarines and
telescopes, and other ancillary
capabilities. The transaction is
expected to close Q1 2017.
Tetra Tech, Inc. acquired privately
held INDUS Corp., an IT solutions
firm focused on data analytics,
geospatial analysis, secure
infrastructure, and software
applications management. INDUS
is joining Tetra Tech's Water,
Environment & Infrastructure
business segment. The terms of
the acquisition were not disclosed.
CACI Ltd, the UK subsidiary of
CACI International, Inc., acquired
privately held Stream:20 Ltd., a
specialist digital consultancy.
Stream:20 delivers a range of
services including consumer data,
marketing technology and
database implementation,
campaigning services, analytics,
and web site design & build. Terms
of the transaction were not
disclosed.
