Tom Benson

Tom Benson, Managing Director at The McLean Group’s Buffalo, NY office, has more than 32 years’ middle market M&A, public accounting, executive management and consulting experience.

Mr. Benson was founder of a consulting firm offering middle market M&A, management advisory, business valuation, virtual and transitional executive and litigation support services in New York state. He also spent 17 years in public accounting including 12 as partner in an accounting firm. He has 10 years’ senior level operating experience as president of a domestic business unit of a publicly-traded Irish biotech company, and as EVP/general manager of a subsidiary of a Canadian public company that manufactures movable wall systems. Mr. Benson was instrumental in developing and selling these firms.

Mr. Benson holds a BS in accounting from Miami University of Ohio.
