Scott Wait is a managing director of The McLean Group's Reno, Nevada office. Mr. Wait has more than 12 years' accounting and financial business advisory experience in addition to an extensive background in investment banking and related transactions in the professional services, healthcare, distribution and manufacturing industries.

Mr. Wait joined his brother in a public accounting and management consulting practice in Reno, Nevada in 1994. Prior to that time, he was a sales manager for a printing manufacturer for seven years. While practicing as a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Wait has focused on strategic financial management, family business succession and M&A services for small and medium-sized private businesses.

Mr. Wait is a graduate of University of Arizona and a CPA. He also is a licensed insurance professional in Nevada. He regularly writes articles on issues of business succession, profit improvement and operational efficiency. In addition, he presents seminars on business valuation and business succession regionally.
