Sam Britton, Managing Director at The McLean Group's Hattiesburg, MS office, has more than 25 years' accounting, auditing, tax and consulting experience. Over the years, he has advised on many transactions and has developed particular expertise creating strategic growth plans (raising capital), exit planning and selling businesses specifically in the energy services industry.

Mr. Britton founded and operated a CPA firm for 20 years before selling the practice. While practicing public accounting, he expanded his firm's focus to include middle market M&A for closely-held businesses. Mr. Britton has worked with clients on buy-side business acquisitions with an emphasis on determining the investment value of the target business. He also has advised clients on the tax considerations of buying and selling businesses. He has helped clients through each step of the process from initial contact to post closing success.

Mr. Britton earned a BS degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
