Mr. Lague launched his career as a CPA with a Big Eight accounting firm before transitioning into advising middle market companies and individual investors in a regional CPA firm. He subsequently became owner and president of a second CPA firm. In 2003, the leading magazine for CPAs named Mr. Lague an industry leader for establishing CPA firm telecommuting offices. A certified valuation analyst, Mr. Lague also has completed graduate work in decision support system designs.
Mr. Lague was founder of an investment banking/financial planning firm that develops succession plans, exit strategies, and retirement and financial plans for corporate executives.
