Robert Doughty, Managing Director of The McLean Group’s Anchorage, AK office, is expert in reporting the value of privately-held stock and helping shareholders maximize their firms' operating potential.

Mr. Doughty began his career in 1988 as an audit senior at an Anchorage-based international public accounting firm where his extensive client roster included $2 billion dollars of closely-held Alaskan operations. He later was senior finance manager of two of Alaska’s largest privately-held companies. As a CEO, he led an Alaska Native Village Corporation to one of the most profitable 12 month periods in its 25-year history.

Mr. Doughty was the founder of two firms that provide M&A, valuation, tax and other financial services. In 2007, he worked on a $500 million sell-side stock purchase. He also has served as a designated expert witness in various court cases regarding the valuation of closely-held companies.

Mr. Doughty is a CPA in the state of Alaska.
