Robert Doughty is Managing Director of The McLean Group’s Anchorage office. His primary expertise includes reporting on the value of privately-held stock and assisting shareholders in achieving higher operating potential.

Mr. Doughty began his career in 1988 as an Audit Senior at an Anchorage−based international public accounting firm where he had an extensive client base, including two−billion dollars of closely−held, Alaskan operations. Mr. Doughty then served as Senior Finance Manager for two of Alaska’s largest privately−held companies. In 1995 he led an Alaska Native Village Corporation as its Chief Executive Officer to one of its most profitable 12 months in its 25 year history.

After his work with the Alaska Native Village Corporation, Mr. Doughty formed The Equitable Advantages Corporation and CFO Growth Solutions. In addition to financial and tax services, Mr. Doughty has supported and principally negotiated numerous deals and valued many enterprises. In 2007 he worked on a $500 million sale−side stock purchase. He also has served as a designated expert witness in various court cases regarding the valuation of closely−held companies.

Mr. Doughty is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
