The McLean Group Welcomes Two New Bankers

McLean, VA, June 07, 2005 - The McLean Group, a private Washington DC area investment bank located in Tysons Corners - McLean, Virginia, providing merger and acquisition, valuation and private equity financing services, is pleased to announce that Don Prince and Gary Underhill are joining the firm as Managing Directors. They will operate all business transactions from their office in Wooster, Ohio located approximately sixty miles south of Cleveland.

"Hiring Don and Gary is a huge step in the expansion of The McLean Group" said Dennis Roberts, Chairman and Co-Founder of the firm. "But it is a logical move seeing that Ohio has seen an increase in economic activities in the recent years." Braun Jones, President of The McLean Group also added: "Gary and Don are both a significant addition to our staff in the sense they both have the experience and understanding of the local industry. Our market penetration to Ohio will not make sense without them as part of our team."

Both bankers are a great combination of technical expertise and selling savoir-faire. On one hand, Mr. Prince, with his solid background in operations and general management roles in Fortune 500 companies, brings over thirty year of impeccable corporate experience. His career was shaped by companies, such as Rubbermaid and ProQuest in which he was given the opportunity to lead a team of over three hundred people through major technological change introducing successful products and services.

On the other hand, Mr. Underhill's diversified experience in industries such as plastics, lumber, building material manufacturing and retail automotive sales and his concentration in finance offer The McLean Group a unique blend of technical skills. His success is characterized by achievements such as growing a small company from $27 million in sales to $130 million and for a twelve percent market increase over a seven year period. Either in the roles of a manufacturing and distribution business' CEO or as a company owner, Mr. Underhill's natural instinct for leadership proves itself to be indispensable in the day-to-day M&A operations.
