Scout Solutions is sold to Interface Software
McLean, VA (May 2004) - The McLean Group is pleased to announce the asset sale of its Gaithersburg, Maryland client, Scout Solutions, to Interface Software, Inc., an international technology company headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. The acquisition will solidify Interface Software's leadership in providing premier Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products to professional service firms.
Since introducing its Aptus CRM product in late 2000 and its Harvest web-based project/matter management software in 2001, Scout's goal has always been to focus on customer satisfaction and delivering cutting edge technology as part of an outstanding product that serves its customers demanding needs. Headquartered in Gaithersburg, Maryland, key Scout management and staff personnel will join the Interface Software team. Focusing on technology innovation at Interface Software will allow As part of Interface, Brett Balmer, President and Founder of Scout Solutions, and other retained members of the Scout staff will be focused on continuing to deliver the same goal of market leading functionality supported by state-of-the-art technology. This will assist Interface in achieving the ultimate goal of delivering more value to its customers in record time.
The McLean Group assisted the founders and management of Scout Solutions in all aspects of the transaction, including identifying and contacting prospective acquirers, analyzing valuations and negotiating the terms of the sale.
