Miami and the Southern Florida Metropolitan Area constitute the US' sixth-largest metropolitan area. Miami itself is the fifth-largest city in the United States. Several business sectors dominate Miami's economy. The largest of these is tourism which accounts for $15 billion in annual revenues. As a hub for international trade, Miami has earned the moniker, "Gateway to the Americas." Many companies based in Latin American have headquarters offices in Miami.
