Kenneth Baily is a Managing Director of The McLean Group’s San Diego office. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial management and professional consulting. His experience includes performing professional business valuations of small and middle market companies for purposes of ERISA, acquisitions, divestitures, estate planning, shareholder divorce, litigation support, and marital divorce; employment in financial management as CFO, Controller, Director of Tax and Accounting Services, Employee Benefits Counsel, and Director of Information Services; employment with law firms specializing in tax consulting, tax litigation, estate planning and tax exempt organizations, and employment with CPA firms specializing in tax consulting and compliance.

His financial management experience has included several stints with companies generally perceived to be candidates for workouts/turnarounds in various manufacturing, service and non-profit companies. He has testified as an expert witness regarding economic damages in the context of a dissenting shareholder action involving a billion dollar publicly-traded REIT and the purchase of a captive insurance company from the children of the Board of Directors’ Chairman.

Mr. Baily is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, Oklahoma and Oregon. He also is a licensed attorney in Oklahoma and real estate broker in California. In addition, he holds Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certifications, and is admitted to the US Tax Court. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants - Litigation Services Committee, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), Oklahoma Bar Association, and The National Center for Employee Ownership.

Mr. Baily earned his BS in Business Administration – Concentration in Accounting from the California State University at Dominquez Hills, and an MBA and Juris Doctorate from Oral Roberts University.
