Jeff Tice is Managing Director of The McLean Group’s Phoenix, AZ office. He has more than 20 years’ experience in middle market M&A, public accounting, insurance, higher education and management.

Mr. Tice also founded a firm to consult on M&A, capital formation, strategic planning, turnaround and exit planning, business valuation and due diligence. The firm focused on middle market, privately-held businesses.

Mr. Tice also has worked in the for-profit, higher education sector. Beginning with the University of Phoenix, Mr. Tice established himself as a proven leader in such higher education-related functions as M&A, operations, finance, academic governance, student finance, regulatory affairs and computer systems. Mr. Tice has taught accounting, finance and management in undergraduate and graduate programs and served as SVP and managing director for Career Education Corp.

Mr. Tice began his career with Arthur Andersen after earning a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.  Mr. Tice has completed advanced course work in M&A, business valuation and exit planning.
