David Yuill is a Managing Director of The McLean Group’s Halifax, Nova Scotia office. Since 1995, he has been a Partner in an independent accounting firm that provides accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to a variety of small business enterprises.

Mr. Yuill continues to expand his professional knowledge. He has completed in−depth courses on Canadian GST/HST taxation and has taken the Investment Dealers and Brokers In−Residence course. He is the Practitioners’ Committee Chair of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia. He also has been a member of the Professional Standards Review Committee and the steering committee for the 2007 SME Advisors National Conference. In addition, Mr. Yuill has lectured on accounting and tax issues to regional business development organizations.

Mr. Yuill graduated from Saint Mary’s University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and received his designation as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1991. In addition to serving as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia, he also is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
