vcardBrett Stacey, Managing Director of The McLean Group’s Dallas, TX office, has more than 7 years experience underwriting and reporting for multilevel transactions within the technology and real estate industries. His current transactional experience includes direct credit, commercial credit portfolio management, credit facility take-outs, operational risk analysis, treasury management, buy-side and sell-side representation, bankruptcy sales and turnaround management.
Mr. Stacey began his career in consumer real estate as a Wells Fargo credit manager. After six months of record setting sales, he was promoted to regional branch manager for northern California. With a staff of eight, Mr. Stacey broke company records by growing the newly created real estate portfolio from $2 million to more than $20 million in less than 12 months. He then transferred to Wells Fargo technology bank where he rapidly won promotion to senior financial analyst.
As an investment banker, Mr. Stacey has completed several successful transactions and valuations on behalf of manufacturing, healthcare, insurance and financial services clients. He is expert in restructuring, Section 363 bankruptcy sales, M&A advisory, capital formations and business valuations.
Mr. Stacey holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and a Master’s degree in accounting from Golden Gate University. A graduate of Wells Fargo’s College of Commercial Credit, he has completed courses in commercial and corporate credits, treasury management, risk analysis and portfolio management. He also is a recent graduate of Wells Fargo’s Financial Analyst Program, a two year, on-the-job training program designed to prepare undergraduates for corporate business credit and relationship management.
