Harry Ward, Director at The McLean Group's Hampton Roads, VA office, has more than 20 years’ executive management and advisory experience with middle market technology, maritime and defense contracting companies. Mr. Ward’s extensive active duty military and federal contracting experience has enabled him to effectively advise both sell side and buy side clients operating as government contractors for NASA, the US Army, Navy and Air Force in particular, among others. In private industry, he ran a mid-sized company and built global sales teams serving a number of high tech and transportation and logistics segments.

From The McLean Group’s Hampton Roads, VA office, Mr. Ward operates at the heart of the mid-Atlantic cargo logistics world that is a lynchpin district for technology service contracting firms serving the full spectrum of DoD departments and federal agencies. He regularly publishes industry M&A reports and serves as a guest speaker and panelist for numerous business and civic organizations.

A US Naval Academy graduate, Mr. Ward served during multiple deployments from both US coasts as a Navy helicopter pilot and survival instructor. He earned an MBA in finance from San Diego State University.
